BAT.Mumu.A.Worm

A virus called BAT.Mumu.A.Worm has surfacedRisk Level: MediumVirus InformationBAT.Mumu.A.Worm is a batch file worm that infects Windows NT/2000/XP computers through network shares. The worm scans random IP subnets and uses brute force password guessing attack for the administrator account of the remote computers. After a successful attack, the worm copies itself to the victim host and starts the virus code. Due to the infection method, the worm causes network traffic.The latest virus definitions dated June 3, 2003 are effective against this worm.
