A web-developer required for an online portal

A non-profit organization is looking for a web developer (or a team consisting of one web programmer and a web designer) who will work on the creation of a web portal. The web portal is developed for one of the organization’s divisions which offers online courses on peace and development studies. Requirements for developers: -Experience in creating dynamic, interactive web portals, including a customized Content Management Systems, integration into the website of external modules: Moodle – online learning; online payments; blogs, forums, etc.-Experience with working with MySQL databases and designing user interfaces for working with databases, including importing and exporting data from/into Microsoft applications; -Basic networking knowledge in order to be able to assist with such issues as web-hosting transfer, DNS and email hosting. -Creativity and initiative. We will appreciate if developers will come with suggestions for best solutions and recommendation of modern tools used to increase usability and attractiveness of the web-portal;-Theoretical knowledge (preferably experience) of using on-line learning tools (MOODLE software);-Ability to learn fast and swiftly find solutions for tools and modules used;-Availability to maintain and adjust the web portal upon request; -English is not 100% necessary, but will facilitate considerably communication;-Responsibility and sense of urgency, seriousness;Duration: 4 weeks for main work + 1 week for testing, adjusting and launch;Starting date: no later than May 1st; Budget: 700 Euro + additional payments for extra-modules; Benefits for developers: not-complicated and interesting project; possibility to recommend yourself for future collaboration on at least another 4 projects; developers and their contact details will be mentioned on the portal (international audience); if interested in the subject, there will be an opportunity to follow on-line courses for free.
