The center also provides Adobe with greater access to the business community and the expertise in the growing Eastern European market.Descrierea postului:Position Summary:The Adobe Romania Globalization Team is looking for highly motivated people to join the development team. You'll have a unique opportunity to help shape various Adobe award-winning products by contributing in the creation of localized versions and work closely with a team of dedicated and passionate people. You will drive the development of Adobe's localized versions by evaluating the product's localization perspective, preparing bid kits and localization kits, supporting localization vendors and addressing product defects. The candidate will also investigate and resolve internationalization (core) issues. Detailed information about the product line can be found at: http://www.adobe.com/products/ Responsibilities:• Drives the localization process of Adobe products, designs, writes and integrates I18n code into the products, with respect to total separation of resources from the code • Designs and implements the localization strategy/work flow for products• He/she may develop some ad-hoc tools that would facilitate the automation of the localization processes• Communicates well with other groups and works with them to resolve internationalization or process issues• Provides input on the Adobe localization process and takes initiative in developing new tools that improve the overall processCerinte:Knowledge & Skills:•B.S. or M.S. degree (degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is a bonus) •2 to 5 years industry experience •Can lead small team of 2-3 individuals •Ability to understand complex technical information •Able to work independently to identify issues, define architecture, and respect tasks •Communicates effectively with team •Empowers the other team members by the ability of being productive as a team •Works with management, including attending and reporting on meetings with higher hierarchy •Solid foundation in development process, best practices and design patterns • Strong knowledge of character encoding systems (UTF-8, UTF-16, Unicode) • Good knowledge of Localization and Internationalization processes (would be a clear advantage) • Knowledge of Python or Perl as well as process automation and scripting is a plus • Strong desktop and web-related technologies knowledge (C++, Java/J2EE, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Ajax DOM, XHTML, XML, DHTML, etc) web standards.Oferta (bonusuri, beneficii):Opportunity to build a career in a rapidly expanding software company, working with international technology groups.
