Location: Switzerland- BaselJob Category: Software Engineering Position Type: Full-time experienced Salary: starting from $2,500 per monthRequired Education: Bachelors / Degree, preferable in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics;Required Experience: 2 - 3 yearsDepartment Description: The engineer will participate in development of CodeWarrior Embedded Debugger. The job involves software development, testing and maintenance of the various modules, as well as participation in designing next generation debugger tools. Specific Knowledge/Skills Required: • 2-3 years hands-on experience with C/C++;• Cross-platform (Windows/Unix/Solaris) development experience;• Knowledge of operating systems fundamentals, multiprocess / multithreaded applications;• Knowledge of different executable and symbolics format - such as PE, ELF, Dwarf, COFF.• Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems;• Knowledge of a scripting programming language - such as TCL, Perl;• Team spirit, able to cooperate and work under pressure;• Excellent/Good English language knowledge (writing/speaking)• Effective organizational skills - ability to multi-task.The following skills would bring an advantage:• Knowledge of Embedded Systems;• Experience with Java, CORBA;• Experience in Eclipse IDE and Eclipse Plugin development;• Experience in GUI development;• Background in developing debugging tools (e.g. gdb);• Understanding of how a compiler/debugger/build system works;• Previous experience in development of automated test software; • Knowledge of software quality, software development process, version control systems (such as CVS);• Familiar with multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Solaris).Please send your detailed resume (in English, Word format) to resumes5@cmtk.net
